Reverse Racism? Or why I am Proud to be UNpolitically Correct

How have we gotten so politically correct that we cant even have fun while bored? It seems someone, somewhere can find something racist or racially motivated in everything! After reading my friends (actually I'm her stalker she just doesn't know it yet LOL) blog post I realized why I am NOT politically correct & proud of it!

I am sick & tired of worrying if I say or write or do something it will be taken the wrong way!! So I do my thing, & don't worry. If it bothers you, I'm sorry. But your rights end where my begin. Don't like it? Hate to see ya go... BYE!

See I wasn't raised to see color. I see people. I see males, & females. I see grandparents & children. My children went to an all black day-care (head start) & never saw anything wrong with it. They were the only white kids there. Some of the other mothers gave us funny looks. Kinda like, oh shit here comes the crackers!! Hey I wanted my kids to get the best head start in education they could, & it was the BEST school/daycare in the neighborhood!! I never said oh no, but its all black! Of course some of the people I knew kinda dissed me about it. But today my kids graduated in the top 10 of their class, have never been to jail (well for anything other then not paying a ticket, even then they turned themselves in & paid the price cause it was the right thing to do.) tried drugs decided they didn't like them, & are an asset to the general public. Those people that dissed me for my decision to put my kids into the best school available at the time??? Some of them now visit their children on the weekends when the child has been good, behind bars thru a thick wall & a phone receiver.

Growing up i had a "nigger" boyfriend, & he had a "honky" Girlfriend. We didn't actually date, we were just really good friends, & That's what we called each other!! no one even blinked. See I don't get how its OK for a group or race of people to diss themselves (by using the "N" word & such) But we are supposed to be OK with them calling us crackers, honky's, whiteys, wetbacks, etc.... Heaven help you though if you tried it with them, specially if you happen to be born unfortunately WHITE! WE as a race of white (we aren't even white!!) people must lay down & take it because its payback or something from the slave days??? My family didn't have slaves!!! My family had 16 kids so they had raised their own slaves!! My grandmother picked cotton, my aunts & uncles raised cotton, corn, rice, etc. Who the hell do I owe & for what??? Its a word people. YOU give it power by using it! YOU can take away the power by not letting it effect you!!

My mom used to say anyone of any color can be a nigger. It is a state of being, a state of mind. Poor white trash is just another name for nigger. See, the definition we were taught was this a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by blacks; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised. So according to this definition the tables have turned. In todays reverse racism, it seems the Caucasians are the new niggers.

While I'm on the subject, lets talk about the rebel flag. Its a FLAG!!! It does not condone racism. It does not say we want slavery back. It does not put down, nor should it offend ANY race!! It was used by the confederate in the civil war. It is still the "official" flag of the south! Don't like it?? Go north young man!! Its a fucking FLAG. A symbol of an Independence the south wanted. nothing more nothing less. So Stop giving it power!!! Let it wave proudly as a symbol of our struggle & the lives lost to gain our Independance! Its not cause Texas wanted slavery to continue that we didn't free the slaves until June. We didn't get the news till then!! But two events fixed Texas and Texans as somehow different in the nation's eyes. First, Texas troops on Texas soil won the final battle of the Civil War, not knowing the south had capitulated a month earlier. Second, returning Texans found a population explosion of wild Longhorns, sparking the great cattle-trail drives that became American legends.

We allow the media & government to take our freedoms one little freedom at a time. We allow the Big Boys who run the country lead us like sheep!! When will we wake up & realize, WE ARE THE PEOPLE. They have no power, we choose not to give them!! They, the President ET AL WORK FOR US! We need to stand up & say WE are Americans, not white, black oriental, Mexicans, But ONE people who want our freedoms & liberties back!

As far as reverse racism.... A young black gang banger is shot, lets say by a white gang banger. Its all over the news for days sometimes even weeks, on every station. Quanell X, the Panthers, NAACP, & every other black leader is standing with his family saying we need to stop this hate crime! We need to educate our children, blah blah blah. Another scenario. A White Gang banger is shot, by a rival black gang. 2 seconds on the news. No political leader for the white child who just died. No justice for all helping a poor white mom bury her son. No one cares. True story, my friend just lost her son in a drive by. & only 1 major news station aired a 12 second clip.

When are WE THE PEOPLE going to say enough!!!! Its KIDS dying. Not blacks, white, Mexicans, orientals, purple dinosaurs!! Its children. Its someones grandmother, father, son, daughter. Why cant we see the horrible state the world is in & work on fixing THAT instead of putting all our power into who called who what name? Or who said Merry Christmas to a Jew? When will we take off the blinders the media, the Internet, the Higher powers (I ain't talking God here people) put on us?

When do we start thinking for ourselves? I'm not saying its ok to offend anyone just cuz ya can! I'm saying do your thing, be proud, hold your head up, show respect to your fellow wo/man. Talk to people as you would your grandmother. Teach your children death is real. Take away the violent X-Box games that desensitizes our kids to death, blood, & guts. Study a little history & find the truth! My truth may not be yours, but I have as much right to my opinion as you do. So quit starting petty fights over petty shit!! Don't sweat the petty stuff, pet the sweaty stuff instead!!

We are walking around on egg shells so scared to offend anyone, that we don't even see our government laughing their ass off at us idiots letting them tell us how to think, feel, & say!! I don't blame them completely, we allowed it to happen. So WE can stop it. We can say ENOUGH! Next time you see an article about how a noose was formed by some bored theater workers where NO ONE could see it as a top story, ask yourself why? what are they trying to hide THIS time by distracting us with petty bullshit stories?

So go on, call me a racist, or bigot. I don't care, the words hold no power over me. I know who I am, what I am, & where I stand. In the words of Toby Keith, Hate me if you want to, love me if ya can!! Oh & remember Hatred is NOT a family value!!
